So I took out my tongue ring.
Idk why.
It just felt like it was time to.
Maybe I will get it again later.
But, so long for now.
- C.S. Lewis
They say a chair is still a chair, even if no one is sitting there
But is a mind still a mind if no thoughts live there?
No thoughts, hopes, dreams, or emotions?
Just an empty space in the center of a brain.
Beneath a face and behind a blank stare that are eyes.
Eyes that hold sadness and fear, but are afraid to blink
and afraid to question what they see and never try to think
For fear that those thoughts will lead to questions
and those eyes they fear those thoughts
Which is why they are scared to think and even more stared to speak.
So you see, the fear is there and the thoughts maybe too,
But to keep a mind empty, what does that really do?
So I ask again is a mind really a mind if no thoughts live there?
You have no idea how insane some of these fans can be.
